I spent today at the house assisting organisers Eddie Anderson and Yvonne Murray in putting up paintings. The house is wonderful - never fails to impress and this will be a very successful venue. The quality of paintings and photographs is also very high.
I worked along with Rona MacLean, whose work I really admired last year and although I did not buy any of her artwork, I did buy some of her cards. We made a good team I think. Eddie asked us for other small works to put up. The room system is such that one is given over to smaller paintings and there are free panels. I am going to take in the Gaudi trio along with Edinburgh Series 2 to see what best fits. Pricing is always tricky. Back there tomorrow to help out with my paintings in tow. Very excited as this will be my second venue at the Festival.
