Exhibitions and other business.

Now into June and trying to get a handle on things. Family life as busy as ever so attempting to tie up loose ends re ECA 1st year and finding a focus for drawing/painting over the long summer months.

The 3 Harbour Festival was extremely successful this year. More footfall everywhere but it would seem to me especially at the Power Station. Also, folk were wanting to buy which was fantastic for all who were exhibiting.

Flush from the sale of a painting in the Old Town series at Leith School of Art, I put in six paintings of the same series. Eddie was very helpful in allowing me to hang them myself so I could ensure that they represented the windows/journey up through the closes that they were based on. All were bought by one buyer mid-week. I was delighted.

Following that I have heard this week that one of the paintings I put into the Bass Rock Gallery in Dunbar has also sold.

I really must get my studio sorted out and get down to business again.
