These paintings, oil on card, are taken from a previous project based on the Wallace Stevens' poem. For more information, refer to the page on Leith School of Art. What lovely work Carol! It is so exciting to see this other side to you. Please let me know when you come down to London next and we can meet up. I love the way you translated the form of the black bird into shape, texture and colour, hinting at the narrative that inspires it. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
